[center][big]History of the Sagi[/big]

[color=lightgreen]The Sagi were the original inhabitants of the area currently called Ta no Kuni. The clan's musical abilities, mainly in the vocal area, were renounced around the country. The Sagi were looked to in reverence for their wisdom, beauty, and their skills in persuasion. They severly lack physical strength, and many do not fight. Because of this, they have been called the "Heron Clan", named after the most peaceful bird known in the Land of Rice Patties.

In today's world, the Sagi have been forced to denounce their reputation of being peaceful, and have had to adapt offensive skills. Since they lack in Taijutsu severely, they chose to study the arts of Medical Ninjutsu, along with Genjutsu. Seeing as the demands of everyday life as a shinobi are hard to be met with only these two types of jutsu, the Sagi used their singing skills to develop what is known as the Galdrar.

The Galdrar has been passed down from generations. It has been called "holy lyric", due to the story the lyrics tell, and the purpose the techniques used with them serve. Although the lyrics take years to memorize and perfect, the outcome of it remains very useful. To extend the volume of their voices, the Sagi have learned to channel their chakra through their vocal chords, and out. This causes a large decibal increase in their voice, making it hearable by many more people, and the range of it causes echoes, which repeat the lyrics over and over, making technique used with the Galdrar hard to avoid.

The language of the Galdrar is unknown to all, and is also the language of the Sagi. Most of the Sagi never learn modern language, and only diplomats and wordly shinobi bother to learn any other form of speech.

When in song, the Sangi can use the chakra in his vocal chords to split his voice into two different octaves, allowing them to sing in harmony by themselves. This is used for more powerful, and offensive techniques.

Galdrar Lettering and Symbols

+ Galdr: Vigor
[color=lightgreen] - This technique calls for a short, legato song. The lyrics, ikemazasanoyuosasumezak, meaning "rise from your oppression, and return to battle", are sung with a loving, romantic tone. After the lyrics are sung in the correct manner, the people hearing it will feel envigorated. Their chakra will begin to replenish at an alarming rate, and any aches or pains they had will be gone. This does not heal wounds, but rather relieves pain for a certain amount of time.

[color=green]+ Galdr: Bliss
[color=lightgreen] - This technique calls for a very brief, fast song. The lyrics, etitomikuuyami, meaning "relief is the only form of pure happiness", are sung with an annoyed tone. Once these lyrics are heard, the people in hearing range will feel their stress lift away. Their bodies will become more nimble, and they will be able to think better. Although this serves no purpose in battle, it is very useful for calming people having a hard time thinking straight.

[color=green]+ Galdr: Recovery
- This technique calls for a rather lengthy, beautiful song. The lyrics, otegakomoukuyirutsuinuzimadat usawurufimimeokonotihonak, meaning "forget your pain, I will heal it. Close your eyes, and you will feel the blessing of my song", are sung as if to a lover. Once the song enters the person's ear who it is being sung to, the jutsu will take effect. Their wounds will start to heal, though not as fast as a normal medical technique. However, this technique can heal any wound, including bones and brain tissue. Using this uses up alot of chakra, and the Sagi must stay out of harm's way, because he will not be able to defend himself after singing this song.

+ Galdr: Lullaby
- This technique calls for no lyrics, only a simple melodic humming. Once the target hears this, their muscles will relax. Once this happens, they will feel very tired. They will be unable to move quickly, and will be very lethargic. After they swoon a bit and try to struggle, they will eventually give up, and they will fall into a sleep. This sleep lasts about fifteen minutes. The only way to stop this is to force the chakra-infused sound waves from you, or constantly cause pain to yourself to stay awake.

+ Galdr: Release/Rebirth
- This technique has two effects. If the song is sung correctly, it has the ability to override a seal placed on a person. It will force the sealer's chakra from the body, and it will have to be placed on another vessel [this includes animals]. If the technique is sung backward, it has a much more powerful ability. The chakra enriched sound waves will enter into the soil of a barren, destroyed land; or a damaged forest. Once this happens, the area will begin to glow with a vivid green color, and the bright light can be seen for miles. The roots of the plant life will begin to regenerate, and the plants will begin to sprout. And damage done to the tissue of the plants will be instantly removed, and the plant will grow. The song takes about three repeats, and once it is done, an entire forest can be brought back to life. This cannot conjure forests is places that were never a forest.

[big]Other Sagi Techniques[/big]

+ Celestial Ray 天線
- This technique calls for handseals, and a light melody hummed by the Sangi. A beam of light will shine down hard on the opponent, blinding them. Once blinded, a large ball made of a massive amount of light and chakra will form above the person, and will waver for a second. It will then slam on the foe, exploding on impact. It will lose it's light attributes, and will erupt like a bomb. If hit, the person will get blown to bits, and the ray will die out over their body.

[color=green]+ Celestial Arrow 天体アロー
[color=lightgreen] - This technique calls for certain handseals. The Sagi will hold his hands in a position that resembles an archer with his bow. Light rays from the sun will shine on the Sagi, and chakra will form into the light and make a bow in the hands of the clan member. Once the bow is formed, the Sagi will hold his hand up, focusing his chakra. The light will form into a bow made of concentrated sunlight. This is very hot, and when used, not only will it pierce, it will burn the foe.

+ Light Piercing 光ピアス
- This technique calls for a single seal to be held. The user will eject chakra from his body, and let it move to the sky. Any clouds will open up, and harsh sunlight will beat down. The user will then make more seals, and hold the last one. A beam of sun, just large enough to coat a foe, will shine down on the target. The Sagi will concentrate, and the sunlight will intensify, and it will begin to burn away at the foe. This technique can be used in smaller scales, to burn certain areas of the body.

[color=green]+ Light Vortex 光の渦
- This technique calls for a single seal. Chakra-infused sunlight will form a small, swirling vortex around a certain area of a foe's body. It will begin to suck away at that part, and eventually will detatch the part of the body from the target. This can only be used once a day, and uses massive amounts of chakra.

+ Divination Strike 占いスト
[color=lightgreen] - This technique calls for handseals and a dark, heavy harmony, using the double-vocal ability the Sangi can use. Once this is done, rays of light will form around the foe, seeming harmless. The Sangi will then stretch his arms out, and the rays will straighten, and hold the appearance of bright, yellow, unhilted blades. Once the Sangi raises his right arm, and holds his left arm to his stomach, the rays will strike the foe. They will have the cutting effect of a blade, but cause severe burning, due to the concentrated sunlight they are formed from.

[color=green]+ Shining Ray 灯火
[color=lightgreen] - This technique calls for a projected, light-hearted harmony. Once heard, it will trigger a powerful Genjutsu. The foe will hear a rumbling from the sky, and will look up. He will then see the sun getting closer and closer at an alarming rate. The heat will become unbearable, and he will feel his skin melting off of him. The sun will stop right at his face, him still being alive. It will then crash onto him, and cause a catastrophic eruption. Words cannot describe the pain brought about from this technique, and the trauma will leave the foe in a comatose state, until treated.

[color=green]+ The Seal of Orichalcos 光のシール
[color=lightgreen] - This seal is used by only the elite of the Sagi clan. The Sagi will hold his hands in a cat's cradle form, and the sun's rays will begin to form a slim, concentrated beam of light on the target's neck. This will need to stay on the target for about five minutes, once connected. After the time is up, the person will feel an immense burning sensation on the spot the light was on before it left his body. A golden seal will appear on the spot, and will hold an effect. If the person tries to commit a crime against nature or society, it will begin to burn. The person will feel this burning, and will enter a powerful Genjutsu. They will then see a destroyed earth, much like it appeared at the time of creation. They will be traumatized by this, and the jutsu will end. With the images still on their mind, they will feel sobered and will not do said crime. However, this seal can only be on two people at a time, and they are linked to the Sagi until their death, or until the seal is removed.

I know I've kind of been heavy on the clans, but I need to find a fitting character after my Ichida was permed. Anyway, I'm trashing my Tegoto clan in Sunagakure to free up space.
